Design, develop and support of an Excel application add in used to generate and maintain the bill of materials associated with vendor quotations. The tool had to be available "in the field", so use was made of the Microsoft Sync Framework to keep the local database in step with the main central system database. Maintainance of the central system database was achieved via Sharepoint and Salesforce.com.
